War Beneath the Roots

While the northern town of Qita teeters on the edge of war, Markin Treefoot — a young, untested adventurer — is driven into the wild places beyond. Alone would mean certain death.  But he's not alone. A minotaur bent on vengeance, an old man lost in time, and a man made of wood and stone join him through blood and ruin.

Yet beneath silent forests, another war festers.  In the distant dark, something older than kingdoms begins to wake. The deeper they go, the darker the roots become.
